Lesson 1 -History of Makeup

Welcome to your first Make Your Own Natural Makeup Self-Paced Lesson!

Today's topics will be the history of makeup. Here are the links to the videos for today’s class:

Enrichment Questions

Here are this lesson's enrichment questions if you choose to do them. You can post your answers on our Make Your Own Makeup Facebook group.

Inspiration Board Exercise:
For this project you will be creating an inspiration board. You can do this either by using an online pinboard or by creating your own vision board from magazines. Who Do You Consider To Be Makeup Icons? What Are You Favorite Colors and Textures? What Are Your Favorite Makeup Styles?

Consider the question, “Why is makeup important?” and post your thoughts on the group message board.
